I love savers!!!! I travel a lot and am constantly searching for treasures, who knows, right!? This savers in Saugus is terrible no matter the condition of the item the price is HIGH. I went this week and they have Jackets, Coats with rips, broken zippers, etc. for $30 and up, kids clothes for $12 and up, Junk cookwares for more than $10 ea. Dollar tree product for over $6 really impressive. Old hard shoes no longer good for more than $10. No way continue searching and you will find better treasures.
I recently lost my mom, so I was in your Saugus store donatingany of her belongs when I say an old sewing machine desk/table like one my mom had when I was little, Donna was so kind, she let me by it and held it till morning so I could get a truck to pick it up. Thank you for giving me back something that help me remember good times with my mom. I can't thank Donna enough for her kindness.
Im so disappointed. I used to come here all the time for clothes, toys, and housewares. Today, I was shocked at the prices. Every old dusty book is 5 dollars, dollar store junk is being sold for 1.50, and every tagless shein sweater was at least 9 dollars, the nicer ones marked closer to 20. Forget the toy section… I’ll buy clean working toys for new for the same price. I’ve donated so many bags of nice things here but I won’t be doing that anymore. It’s no wonder people choose fast fashion when thrift stores are this greedy too.
Great thrift store if you like clothes and electronics. But if you like video games like me every time you come there no matter if your early or not the discs will be stolen out of the cases.
Bring your donations here. Great place to buy second hand stuff. I do all the time.
I collect the little golden books and Harry Potter books. I always find what I'm looking for. Love the senior discounts too.
This place is overpriced, If you think of donation then it is fine. Their people didn't know how to priced stuff and some of item is ridiculous priced. I attached picture here for example, the LED Lamp I found in Dollar Tree and Used Lamp I found in Savers.. I have been buying overpriced stuffs in this store and unfortunately I found out later it is not worth it.. And believe me or not, some item they wont let you return at all.
I always find great stuff here. The employees are very nice and very helpful. Be prepared to keep your winter gear on if you come in winter, as they keep intake doors open and it gets chilly. Some things are gorgeously cheap, and some things are more expensive here than they were originally sold for (like a packet of recently-made fake spider web material - it said $1.84 on the package, but I got it for $2.99). I try to come here every time I'm in town, which is 5-7 times a year.
